Reiki is a energy healing technique whereby life force energy is channelled through the practitioner into the clients body, in order to activate the natural healing processes of the body, and restore physical and emotional well-being.

This treatment is done fully clothed with Reiki music playing in the background. You will be able to relax, while I gently place my hands in various positions on your head and body letting the energy flow. I like to incorporate techniques from Kinesiology, Reflexology and massage when I feel guided. This treatment can also be combined with Gong (25 min hands-on reiki, followed by 20 min gong bath).

About me

Hi, I'm Rachel, co-founder of Earth Camp and owner of Reiki-Flow.
​
As well as running EC, I have been working in the hospital as a Registered Nurse since 2009 and a massage therapist since 2019. I have a particular interest in complimentary therapies and energy work, which I have been passionate about since 2008.
​​​
I see my life as a continued learning, for the health benefit of others, so I generally fill the off season with courses! In the past I have gained advanced massage skills through award winning "Jing", and deepened my holistic knowledge through the Kinesiology Association's Foundation course.
​
This is also reflected in my world of energy work. I started with Usui and Seikhem Reiki in 2011 and this has been complimented with newer consciousness work of Pellowah and Umana and more recently Shamanic Munay-Ki Rites; I have also learnt Pranic Healing and Theta, but dont currently practice these. My current biggest love is sound therapy, which I was guided through Ali Oakwood, in Feb, 2024.
I work intuitively, asking for the highest and best for your mind, body and spirit.

Umana and Pellowah
Pellowah an energy technique, originated from Kachina Ma’an, a spiritual teacher in Australia 2003. It is said to connect all 12 strands of DNA, ready for activation. By unblocking and realigning all the meridians within the body, it gives a feeling of well-being and connection, which allows for a Radical Shift in Consciousness.
Pellowah is a hands off treatment, where the client just rests on the bed, in a silent, eyes closed meditative state. (Not available on busy weekends due to noise interference).

The Umana Technique, also from Kachina Ma'an, followed in late 2023. This "Evolutionary Engineering" technique works on the 8th-12th chakras, to facilitate deep healing and personal growth.
Umana is delivered in a similar manner to Reiki, where practitioner places hands on various points of clients body, while the client rests listening to music (eyes open or shut). Umana/Pellowah can also be sent remotely.
You may feel emotional after energy treatments, this is okay, as it is part of the cleansing.
At Earth Camp find time for a swift 30 minute back, neck and shoulder massage, while the children play, or bliss out with a full hours body massage. Both are offered on a full sized therapy bed, in my bell tent, which has a wood burner for when its cold.​​

Popular alternatives are; Indian Head massage and Reflexology, which typically last 45 mins, and can be offered in a chair or on the massage table.

Private/small group sound baths are available during your stay. The centre piece of which, is my heart Gong, which I play along with crystal bowls, a crystal Merkabah, chimes and various percussion.
Vibrational sound has been proven to relax the nervous system, putting the body into a restful and receptive state when it allows the body and mind to heal and provides space for inspiration.
There will also be opportunities during the year to join larger group sound baths along with guided meditations and nights drumming around the community fire.
