Serving exceptional coffee, using ethically-sourced coffee, roasted in small batches, and traceable back to the farmer.

Pizza in Paradise will visit Earth Camp on Saturday evenings 5-8pm to set up their wood-fired pizza oven.

​

Offering a great range of individual pizzas, incl. vegan & vegetarian options (gf if ordered in advance).

​

Cooked to perfection, in a field, at very reasonable prices.

SHOPS

The nearest shop to Earth Camp is a Jempsons convenience store, which sells a reasonable range of food & drinks, including an off-licence, and is about 30 minutes walk down the road (or 3 mins by car). Open 6am - 9pm Monday-Saturday; Closed Sundays.

 

The convenience store on Newick Green is a similar distance away and is situated in the vicinity of several shops including Pharmacy and the Cottage Bakery.  There is also a well stocked farm shop 6 minute drive away and a local pick your own about 30 minute walk.

 

If you require a larger shop, we are conveniently sited between 3 towns with major supermarkets, all around a 15 minute drive away.  In Lewes and Uckfield there are Tesco, Aldi and Waitrose superstores.  Haywards Heath has a Sainsburys, Waitrose and M&S food store.  Each town also has smaller "local" versions of the leading supermarket stores.

  • The Crown Inn in Newick offers a free artisan pizza delivery service for orders of 8 pizzas or more. Smaller orders are available via collection (3 min drive) - 01825 723 293

  • Truly Scrumptious offer kebabs and burgers from their van parked in South Chailey Thursday-Sat 5pm-9pm and Newick Fridays 5pm-10pm.  (opposite the end of Mill Lane on the A275).

  • Martin's Pizza visits North Chailey on Wednesday nights between 4-8pm, in the layby opposite St Mary's church, by the Shell garage at the A272/A275 roundabout.
