Events at Earth Camp in 2025
Earth Camp is holding a number of special events this year. Please contact us directly to book in and pre-pay for any events you wish to attend. The current diary of events in 2025 is as follows (more details to follow):

Saturday 3rd May - 7-11pm: Star Party - An evening of space talks and star gazing from local astronomers using high-grade telescopes (£5 per person to St Peter's & St. James' Hospice)​​

Sunday 25th May - 6-7pm: Bank Holiday weekend Group Reiki and Sound Bath in the woods, with Reiki Flow (weather permitted). £20 per person (maximum 6 people).

Saturday 31st May - 3-5.30pm: Yoga/Sauna/Meditation - 1 hour sauna session with towel ceremony and cold plunge, 45 minutes Yoga Nidra, and 45 minutes meditation workshop. £45 per person.​​

Saturday 21st June - 11.00-11.40am: Family Drumming Circle - A 40-minute workshop for all ages. Drumming expert Denys will lead the group through a range of fun exercises - £5 per person.

​Saturday 21st June - 3-5.30pm: Wild Medicine workshop - The workshop will consist of 3 parts; First, there will be a lecture about ethical values of foraging, health benefits of wild herbs, practical advice on weather conditions and timing of picking, storing of herbs as well as practical examples of drying, macerating and tincture making. Then, there will be a guided walk focusing on plants and herbs recognition, during which we will hopefully collect wild garlic and nettle (or elderflower and dandelion or anything else!). Third part will consist of preparing a simple meal using the herbs on an opened fire. The duration of the workshop will be 3 hours and the cost £38 per person.​​

Saturday 19th July - 3-5.30pm: Fermentation workshop - kimchi making workshop. The participants will learn about the health benefits of fermentation, different types of fermentation, which foods are suitable for it, and the storing of fermented goods. They will make their own kimchi and taste various fermented home-made products as well as learn about other types of food preservation such as smoking, curing and drying. There will be a tasting of some smoked home-made produce too. The duration of this workshop will be 2,5 hours and the cost £38 per person.

Saturday 23rd August - time 3-5pm: Herbal Cosmetics workshop – make your own body butter, lip balm or face mask using natural ingredients and herbs we find during our walk around the campsite. Learn about different oils’ properties, healing power of herbs, and combine it in creating your own cosmetic lotion or tincture. Price £35 per person, duration 2 hours, costing £38.

Sunday 24th August - time TBC: Paper Log making workshop - We will be making paper mache from shredded paper and then pressing it into a paper brick which, once dried, burns like a log. (it really does!) A great activity for kids.

Saturday 20th September - 9-11.30am: Mushroom Foraging - We will learn about different types of mushrooms, the types of fungi habitat, and favourable weather conditions. We will discuss preservation of mushrooms such as drying, pickling and cooking. We will take a walk around the campsite and hopefully find some edible species to cook on an open fire. Failing this, there will be some fresh wild mushrooms I will have ready as an alternative. Price £38 per person. Duration 2.5 hours.
