Visualise drum making by a fire, surrounded by nature, whilst camping over three days!! 

 

Day one: Arrive; An opening ceremony and working on fresh hide.

Day two: Time to chill; a bit about deer, our relationship, and ethical deer hides within drum making, while we work on your hoop and felt drum beater. We will drum journey together.

Day three: Weave your drum together; Ceremony to bless your drum and your path ahead. 

 

Bring your own breakfast, lunch, snacks, and something for the pot in the evenings.

 

We will have a community created evening meal whereby we will make together Friday and Saturday. 

We will be joined by brilliant Sussex Storyteller Heidi McNie, who will tell related folklore stories by the fire in the evenings, to weave into your drum.

 

Your Drum Making guides for this workshop are Aoife Brown and Eva Greenslade, who have a decade of experience in drum making. 

Non-camping tickets are available, and glamping (bell tent) options also.
