We're delighted to announce that we will be holding a Yoga Retreat at Earth Camp in June 2024! This special weekend offers a wide range of yoga and other activities, along with excellent food that will build a community over the weekend, whilst truly connecting with nature at our beautiful eco-friendly campsite.

Our resident yoga teachers Sarah and Fiona, will lead you through a minimum of 6 yoga sessions during the weekend. The sessions will range from dynamic to restorative, taught in an accessible style, so that you will get the most out of the time here. Sessions will be taught on the meadow (weather permitting) and within the light and airy dome marquee so you can really connect with nature while you are here.

  • Pomodoro E Basilico is run by Sara, an Italian foodie and chef, since 2012, “before vegan was cool”.

  • Sara is based in Queens Park and she’s been hosting Supper Clubs, cookery lessons and catering since the beginning, followed then by regular street food trading (with London Farmers Market at the moment).

  • Her cooking is proper Italian, 100% vegan and homemade, with a strong link to the Italian food tradition, but always open to new cuisines and influences.

  • At Pomodoro, everything is homemade from scratch, from the burgers sold at the markets to the artisan vegan cheese sold at the Etsy online shop.

Your Yogis:

The yoga I teach is an accessible style, and I have been teaching for 10 years.

I have a scaravelli inspired background,  incorporating this along with somatic and functional movement into flowing practices. I am trained to teach both dynamic and therapeutic style yoga, which is sensitive towards any joint issues.

I am also trained to teach restorative and yoga nidra.

Fiona

I’m a yoga teacher with 200-hours of training. I am trained in the practice of restorative yoga, as well as yoga and somatics. I love to share my practice, guiding my students to develop and explore yoga for themselves.

I gain so much from yoga, moving through asana (postures), to meditation, to pranayama (breath work) and karma yoga. So much of my practice benefits me both on and off of the yoga mat.

Earth Camp, Chailey

We established Earth Camp in 2021 to provide a beautiful space for people to spend time at one with nature. Our eco-friendly approach is at the heart of everything we do, as we steadily build a nourishing community here.

Providing a great service is so important to us (check our reviews below!), and nothing is too much to ask when you stay at Earth Camp. We always camp with you, making sure we keep our wonderful compost toilets, sinks and hot showers perfectly clean at all times. We look forward to meeting you.

Your Sound Bath:

Allan

A Gong Bath, also known as a Sound Bath, is a class where gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, and other instruments are played to encourage deep relaxation or meditation.

This holistic therapy aims to relax the mind, body, and soul by immersing you in healing vibrations of sound. The practice of using sound for healing dates back to ancient cultures, including ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman times.

During a Gong Bath, participants lie down comfortably while the instruments are played. The resonant and harmonious sounds create a meditative experience, allowing you to release tension, reduce stress, and potentially liberate emotional blockages. Some enthusiasts believe that certain forms of sound therapy, like gong baths, can even prompt damaged human DNA strands to repair themselves.

Healing processes are initiated through entraining our brainwaves to synchronise with the perfect resonance of the instruments. Unique Solfeggio tones (healing Hertz frequencies) create the perfect state for deep meditation, creative thinking and intuitive messages.
